| COURSE DESCRIPTION |
Cross Country style course.
Mostly flat course over natural terrain,
including grassy meadows and dirt
pathways/trails. All participants should
be comfortable with running and walking on
grass and off-road terrain. It's Nature!

| WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BEACH? |
Two Words: Snowy Plover.
The original Turkey BEACH Trot was held at
Ocean Beach, from 2003-2006. Federal law
now bans races at the beach, to protect the
habitat of the endangered Snowy Plover. The
Turkey said, "Huh?" then moved the Trot to
the TRAILS of the Park. For more details
